Apple Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients :
-Old fashioned oats
-All-purpose flour
-Baking powder
-Salt
-Cinnamon
-Unsalted butter
-Brown sugar
-White sugar
-Egg
-Vanilla extract
-Unsweetened Applesauce
-Medium-large apple
-Walnuts
Directions:
Take a small bowl and stir 2 cups of oats, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a half teaspoon of salt. Microwave the butter to completely melt it and place it in a bowl with 1 cup of light brown sugar and half a cup of sugar. Combine them together. Whisk into it 1 large egg and ¼ cup of vanilla extract. Stir in half cup of unsweetened applesauce. Peel, cut and dice 1 large apple, and then fold in them with walnut pieces. Cover the dough and refrigerate for an hour. Preheat the microwave at 350 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking sheet or parchment paper. Put the dough slowly on the baking sheet and flatten with the help of spoons. Bake both sides for 10 minutes unless they turn brown. Remove and let it cool down for 10 minutes. Serve the delicious cookies.
Carrot Apple-Mint Salad
Ingredients:
-Nonfat Greek yogurt
-Mayonnaise
-Lemon Juice
-Apple cider vinegar
-Honey
-Carrots
-Apple
-Fresh mint
-Salt
Directions:
Whisk together ¼ cup of plain Greek yoghurt, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon honey, and smoothen it in a large bowl. Grate peeled and diced carrot and apple, 1 each in a food processor. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and mix the dressing. Add chopped mint leaves and salt according to taste. Store them in an airtight container and refrigerate. It can be consumed for even 3 days from preparation.
Mini Peanut Butter and Apple Sandwich
Ingredients:
-Old fashioned rolled oats
-Ground flaxseeds
-Ground cinnamon
-Sea salt
-Orange juice
-Honey
-Brown sugar
-Vegetable oil
-Vanilla extract
-Cooking spray
-Raisins
-Apples
-Creamy peanut butter
Directions:
Preheat the microwave to 300-degree F. Combine 1 cup of old-fashioned oats, 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a dash of sea salt in a large bowl. Take a saucepan and combine 2 tablespoons of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and put on medium heat unless the sugar dissolves. Keep stirring frequently. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract after removing from heat. Pour the honey mixture over the oat mixture. Take a jelly-roll pan and coat with cooking spray. Spread the combined mixture over it. Bake for 20 minutes until they turn golden brown. Stir halfway, add raisins, and let it cool down. Take 4 medium apples. Core each apple and cut into ¼-inch slices. Spread the slices with peanut butter and add the baked mixture over it. Sprinkle with granola. Paleo Apple-Cinnamon Pancakes
Ingredients:
-Eggs
-Bananas
-Apple
-Almond butter
-Cinnamon
-Nutmeg
-Vanilla extract
-Coconut oil
Directions:
Mash two bananas together. Whisk two eggs in a large bowl and add the banana mash to it. Peel and dice 1 apple. Stir in the bananas, eggs, and apple chunks together. Add 2 tablespoon of almond oil, 1 and half teaspoon of cinnamon, ½ teaspoon of nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract. Combine both into a pancake butter. Heat a skillet on medium flame. Put a thin layer of coconut oil, and pour in the pancake mixture. Use a spatula to spread and turn to the other side when one turns golden brown. Make as many pancakes as possible, and then garnish with fresh fruits or maple syrup.
Apple Pie Granola Bar
Ingredients:
-Rolled oats
-Unsweetened coconut
-Pecans
-Dates
-Coconut oil
-Vanilla
-Honey
-Cinnamon
-Nutmeg
-Dried apples
Directions:
Preheat the microwave to 350-degrees F. Put 2 cups of rolled oats in a food processor and blend for 5-10 seconds. Combine the pulsed oats, ½ cup of shredded coconut, and ½ cup of chopped pecans on a baking sheet. Toast them in the oven for around 10 minutes. Ensure mixing after 5 minutes so that it doesn’t burn. Remove from the oven once it turns golden brown in color. Place 1/3 cups of dates in a food processor and blend unless it forms a paste. Heat a separate saucepan. Add ¼ cup of coconut oil, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/3 cup of honey in it. Add the dates paste as the liquid heats up and stir properly. Take a separate bowl, and combine the toasted oats mixture, 1 cup of dried and chopped apples, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, ½ teaspoon of nutmeg, and the hot liquid mixture. Mix well by stirring. Line the baking tray with a parchment paper and spread the mixture. Refrigerate for two hours to ensure that the bars are firm enough. Remove from the fridge and cut into rectangular shapes. They’re ready to eat and can even be stored for future use.
