Natural-blush

Natural blush

A natural blush is a common reference to beauty in many fairy tales. The hint of color on the apples of the cheeks gives a fresh and stunning glow to the face. For making a blush at home two simple ingredients are needed.

Ingredients:

  • Arrowroot powder
  • Sundried root for color

Preparation:

  • The most important ingredient here is the colorant that will provide the hue to the blush. This may be beetroot, carrots or even cocoa powder.
  • Arrowroot powder is an edible substance and is easily available in most grocery stores.
  • Sundried roots or even flower petals, when crushed or blended, form a powdery substance that leaves a hint of natural color.
  • This, when mixed with arrowroot powder, gives a product that can be used on the face as a natural blush.

Beetroot powder gives a pink to purple color based on the amount of powder included in the mixture. Similarly, rose petals give a pink color; cocoa a brown and peach petal gives a lovely peach hue.
