- Self-centered behavior: Children who have ADHD display self-centered behavior, they are unable to empathize with other people’s needs and desires. Their behavior is solely governed by the need to make themselves happy.
- Emotional outbursts: ADHD in children makes them quite emotional. They are unable to control their emotions and tend to experience emotional outbursts especially angry ones at inappropriate times. Temper tantrums are quite prominent among children with ADHD.
- Impatience: ADHD in children makes them quite impatient. For instance, they experience trouble waiting for their turn on the swing or some other games and can cause a lot of problems while interacting with other children.
- Lack of focus: This is one of the characteristic symptom displayed by children with ADHD. They have a difficult time focusing on the task at hand. They can be easily distracted even if you are directly speaking to them.
- Forgetfulness: Children with ADHD are quite forgetful. They are absent-minded and can forget to do their homework or basic chores, and might misplace things without no recollection of the same.
ADHD in children cannot be completely cured, yet there are various ways devised to allow children with ADHD to lead a normal life.
